Paul Rudolph. The Florida Houses
In the 1950's and '60s, Paul Rudolph designed and built dozens of modest houses in Florida, legendary for their elegance and simplicity. Most were built economically with off-the-shelf lumber, and all were open, porous plans that tried to capture as many breezes as possible (this was before air conditioning) and erase the boundary between inside and out.
