WYSIWYG. Sauerbruch Hutton Architects

Matthias Sauerbruch and Louisa Hutton studied at the AA in the early 1980s, and taught there before setting up a practice in London in 1989. By working on urban competitions, they were able to continue research into themes they had pursued with their AA units: in particular, that of the development of the post-industrial city as a sensual, ecologically sustainable environment.
