Hans Scharoun

Hans Scharoun (1893-1972) was the most significant German architectural Modernist of the 1920s and an important exponent of organic architecture. Scharoun first achieved international recognition with his controversial house for the Stuttgart Weissenhofsiedlung in 1927.
