As hardly any other medium in the fine arts, sculpture has gone through dramatic development in the course of the last century. Many of these changes have not been acknowledged by the public, nor have they penetrated the broader understanding of fine arts. Contemporary sculpture is not encountered with diversified knowledge regarding its history, analysis, political implications.
